Weāve all heard it before: āMotivation is fleeting, but discipline lasts forever.ā Itās the anthem of anyone chasing self-improvement, and yeah, thereās truth in it. Motivation is like a sparkāa song šµ, a montage š„, or a heartbreak š lights the fire. But just like a flame š„, it burns out, leaving you in the dark. But looking into the field of art, is it really true though?

Discipline? Discipline keeps the wheels turning even when the fire dies. Itās steady. Itās reliable. But hereās what no one tells you: discipline without heart is hollow.
The Pain of Perfection (Even in Art)
When I made my video, Dieting 101 for Busy People, I thought I was ready to show the world who I was. I had it all plannedā4 blogs, 4 hours of training šļø, and a 20-minute video that wasnāt just another talking-head lecture.
I wanted it to be alive. š±
I acted out scenes š, changed outfits š, filmed shots of food š³, and spent hours crafting every second.
But the process? It broke me. š
I skipped meals. š½ļøā I missed training. I hated myself for two straight days. And the result? A video I couldnāt even be proud of. š

How ironic, right? A video about self-improvement and balance left me burned out and feeling like I failed.
Art Demands More
Hereās the truth I learned the hard way: art isnāt just about disciplineāitās about feeling. ā¤ļø

You canāt stick art on a to-do list. You canāt force it into a timer ā³. True artāthe kind that moves peopleāisnāt built from routine. Itās built from love, care, and connection.
- A beautiful scene šø might still feel empty if your heartās not in it, no matter how many angles you try.
- A garbage scene š®, no matter how much you edit it, will poison the whole piece.
Art flows from whatās real. And when youāre chasing perfection or validation, you lose that spark. ⨠Thatās where I fell short. I wasnāt creating something me. I was just checking boxes.
Why I Finished It Anyway
But hereās the thing: I still finished the video. Not because it was good. Not because I believed in it.
I finished it because I needed to.
I needed to remind myself that perfection isnāt the goalāprogress is. I needed to leave that lesson etched into my journey, no matter how painful.

I want people to find that video years from now, buried under all the other things Iāll create. I want them to see the cracks in it and realize: we all start somewhere.
Failures arenāt flawsātheyāre proof. Theyāre the cracks that let the light shine through, the evidence that you cared enough to try.
The Flavor of Success
That video? Itās ugly. Itās raw. Itās not what I wanted. But one day, itāll stand as proof of something far greater. One day, itāll be the foundation of an empire š°.
Cracks arenāt to be hiddenātheyāre to be savored. Cracks, like failures, are the condiments that give success its flavor. And, I don’t want to hide those uglier pieces from you – my audiences, I want you to see the whole picture of who I am as a person.

Even if my content stays imperfect for monthsāmaybe yearsāIāll keep uploading anyway. Iāll keep creating anyway. Why?
Because imperfection is relatable. Pain connects us more than polished highlights ever could. People run from pain faster than they chase pleasure, and losses teach more than wins ever will.
A Message for the Dreamers
So hereās my promise:
Iāll keep uploading. Iāll keep grinding. Iāll keep showing up, even when the cracks are deep, even when the imperfections glare back at me. šŖāØ
Because those cracks? Theyāre the fingerprints of effort. Theyāre the proof of growth. Theyāre the scars that tell the story of someone who dared to try, fail, and try again.

Art is love. Effort is art. And every crack is worth savoring. š
One day, those cracks will be the masterpiece. And until that day, Iāll keep creating, not for validation or perfection, but for the beauty in the process.
